No fewer than 58 police officers and their families have been thrown out of
the Police College Band Quarters, Ikeja, Lagos, since seven months ago.
Some of the unlucky ones who have nowhere to stay, sleep in the field or at the passage of other blocks while their property are outside in both sun and rain.
The police authority was said to have ejected the occupants of the twin two- storey buildings and renovated them.
Investigation revealed that the authority had been deducting money for rent from the salary of the cops even after they were ejected.
