Senator Ajibola promises new dawn for Kwarans

The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara state, Senator Simeon Sule Ajibola has dedicated his victory at the party’s primary election held last Friday to the Almighty God just
as he promised to work for a new glorious dawn for the people of the state.
Senator Ajibola in a statement of appreciation signed on Sunday by his personal Assistant, Hon Ganiyu Abolarin  said that the PDP government would usher in a new direction that would  bring a new lease
of life to the people of the state.
He commended the National and state Executive, the eleven governorship aspirants, PDP Elders, party members and  the delegates in making the primary election a success.
The governorship candidate said that though, the journey for the enthronement of democracy in the state was tough, it had brought unity and oneness to the party to achieve the much desired goal.
He said “Words are not enough to express our heartfelt appreciation to all people who directly or indirectly contributed to the success recorded so far in our journey to our desired freedom. Iam short of
adequate words to express the depth of my gratitude to all the aspirants.
We fought for the enthronement of democracy in Kwara PDP, We did not receive it on a platter of gold. The struggle has brought unity among us all,” he said.
Ajibola said all hands must be on deck to achieve PDP’s goal and mission of bringing prosperity to bear on the poverty stricken lives of the people in the state.
According to him, there was the need to put smiles on the faces of the civil servants and small and medium scale entrepreneurs that were the engines of growth and development of the State.
He commended the Electoral Committee from the National Headquarters of the PDP headed by Hon Gabriel Suswan, Governor of Benue state for conducting a transparent and hitch free primary election.
He also commended the highly professional conduct of the security agencies especially the state commissioner of Police, the Director of State security, the commandant of the Civil Defense Corps, the
commander of the Air force, the Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) and others.
Senator Ajibola however appealed to the people of the state to look ahead for a new glorious dawn where no Kwaran would be denied his or her legitimate rights and aspirations.
